Electrical Installation Books

Electrical

Electrical Wiring, Residential" by Ray Mullin.

This book is a very good descriptive wiring guide, and it includes National Electrical Code explanations. Written by an experienced electrician.

Electrician's Helper

Electrician and Electrician's Helper" by Rex Miller

The following is a book written by an electrician that has some really interesting content. Rex Cauldwell explains a lot of the electrical theory included in residential wiring, and gives lots of installation guidance. The book is written by an electrician in an understandable language. This book does not include a lot of the Electrical Code references behind the installation, but provides examples of good wiring as opposed to not acceptable wiring. This book is easy to read and understand for the beginner as well as more experienced electricians

go to the theory page at the Electrical Bookstore from AETech.com

The following is a text book that I have used for DC and AC theory classes. It is an extensive reference with lots of good information. Many electrical theory books are written from an engineering or technican's perspective. This book is written by an electrician and from an electrician's perspective, with field applications that make good sense where applicable. The book includes good quality diagrams and illustrations.
